The
Crocker House Inn offers a variety of catering services:
from small business retreats and gatherings focused primarily
on meetings and productivity to weddings for up to 250 people.
In addition to our intimate dining rooms, we regularly entertain
on our front lawn for large tent parties. During the course
of our 25 years of experience we have also catered hundreds
of off premise events that range from intimate cocktail parties
to dinner for 500.
Each event is unique and as such requires significant planning
and a substantial amount of attention to details-at which
we excel. We provide professional menu planning services
that can be adapted to meet most budgets as well as a professional,
courteous, and fun staff, perfectly cooked food and well
conceived events that are virtually seemless. We do have
a full liquor license and the concommitant liability insurance,
and a staff fully prepared to serve any beverage.
While our forte is our ala carte dining experience at the
Crocker House Inn, we have designed menus for on and off-premises
that reflect our skill at ala minute food preparation. Regardless
of the occasion, large events tend to fall into one of four
styles: cocktail party, buffet, sit down dinner, station-buffet
party. We have plenty of experience with each type of event,
and can provide you with a full menu for each.
We also coordinate with any and all other service providers
to guarantee that your event will flow smoothly.
The factors which have the most impact on costs are the
following:
- The number of guests
- The site and its infrastructure needs (tents, dance
floors, etc.)
- The bar
- Time of day and time of year
- Menu
We have successfully catered events (often weddings) on
islands, in fields, on beaches, in private homes, on airstrips,
on boats, on wharfes, and at schools and libraries. In addition
to the outlined menus we have done a number of lobster feeds –from
family picnics to those with raw bars and ice carvings. |
